Stonebridge instruments are built at the Furch shops in Velké Němčice, just south of the city of Brno the Czech Republic.
As the former Soviet Republics opened up, many developing craftsmen began working freely. Founded by Frantisek Furch, Stonebridge is named for the famous Charles Bridge in Prague.
In some areas, these guitars are marketed under the Furch name.
SGI, Stonebridge Guitars International, now distributes these fine instruments to the USA and Canada.
