Airline Guitars were made in the USA from 1958-68 by VALCO and sold through Montgomery Ward. VALCO also made National and SUPRO brands. In more recent years they have been played by people like David Bowie, The Cure, Calexico and White Stripes.
Airline guitars are now built for Eastwood Guitars, based in Brampton, Ontario.
These reissue models bring back the fantastic shapes and sounds of these lower cost instruments, but with modern hardware.
