David Nichols is one of the most respected inlay artists in the United States, and from the late 1960s did a large percentage of the inlay work for the Martin Guitar Company. His company name is Custom Pearl Inlay, located in Whippleville, New York and is a Martin warranty repair shop.
Nichols also builds guitars and mandolins on a limited basis. His woodworking is as high quality as his inlay.
