Azola Basses, Electric Upright Bass or EUB models, first appeared in 1994 as Steve Azola re-created the Ampeg Baby Bass. These reproductions were quickly embraced by Ampeg itself, who authorized Azola to build their limited edition re-issue until that contract ended in 1999.
Azola closed in 2010.
