NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!! 1990s Bogner Metropolis 1×12 Combo Amplifier

This Bogner Metropolis 1x12 Combo Amp was built in the late 1990s as a classic AC style, 15 watt, class A tube amplifer with EL84 tubes. The Metropolis was discontinued in early 2014.

 

The Bogner Metropolis was a single channel Class A tube amp, available in combo and head form, in either 15 or 30 watt models. The 'tell' for the power rating is the speaker - the 30 watt 1x12 combos have speakers rated above 30 watts! There was also a 2x12 combo, and this is 30 watts with a pair of Celestion 25 watt speakers. Added to the AC-style circuitry is a rotary six-position 'Schizo' tone gain structure switch. Reverb

 

This amplifier is in great condition, physically and electically.

 

Bogner amps are very high quality, and use a printed board that is designed and built to account for all the interactions between components, providing greater reliability than standard circuit board amps and greater consistency than point to point wiring.
