Eastman AC 710 Acoustic Guitar

Ok, so I already knew that Eastman made affordable high quality archtops and mandolins but I am still surprised at how great of a guitar they can build for under a $1000. We are taking about high end features like solid wood top sides and back, hand carved scalloped X bracing, bone nut and saddle, wood rosette and body binding and Gotoh tuners!

This AC 710 Orchestra model (now renamed AC 712) features an Englemann spruce top, Indian Rosewood sides and back, a beautiful maple rosette and a 4 1/4" deep, 15" lower bout body. The body dimensions and shape provide a comfortable guitar with enough depth to provide a fuller bass response than on most orchestra size guitars. The overall tone is very pleasing with a good balance between high end sizzle and bass presence with some nice overtones. This great looking and sounding guitar that is well suited for finger style playing and light to medium strumming.
