At age 10 Alejandro Cervantes stared playing the guitar and almost at the same time he stared doing small works in guitars as his father thought him little by little the art and soul of guitar luthierie. 

   Alejandro Cervantes studied classical guitar at the School of Fine Arts in Morelia, the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City and at the School of Erudite Music in Bahia, Brazil. The deep knowledge of the guitar gather as a player has envisioned Alejandro with a holistic approach and understanding of the guitar in terms of playability and acoustics. 

    The instrument that I'm reviewing today is Alejandro's Rodriguez PE from his Studio Series of affordable all solid wood classical guitars.  The Rodriguez features a Western Red cedar top with solid Palo Escrito back & sides and a slightly larger body that combines for a lush warm deep "Spanish" tonality.  In the words of Alejandro Cervantes himself :  "Our studio line of guitar are hand made with all solid woods'. this model has a bigger body than the Hauser PE so it has a deeper tone. You will be amazed to hear this professional studio guitar; great volume, playability and tone."
