| Cervantes Guitars, was started by Alejandro Cervantes
Cardiel , a continuation of the family tradition started by his father
Alejandro Cardiel Sr. born in Paracho , a small town nestled in the Sierra
Madre mountains of central Mexico. At age 10 Alejandro Cervantes stared
playing the guitar and almost at the same time, began doing small tasks
in the workshop as his father taught him little by little the art and soul
of guitar luthierie.
Alejandro Cervantes studied classical guitar at
the School of Fine Arts in Morelia, the National Conservatory of Music
in Mexico City and at the School of Erudite Music in Bahia, Brazil. The
deep knowledge of the guitar gathered as a player has envisioned Alejandro
with a holistic approach and understanding of the guitar in terms of playability
and acoustics. |
