In one of the most distinctive instruments, the Rickenbacker 4003 features the classic Cresting Wave body designed by Roger Rossmeisl and introduced in 1958 with the model 4000.
The Rickenbacker 4003 bass is an evolution of the model 4000, and appeared in 1979. It has the same unmistakable body, with a maple neck through the body. This example is a limited edition, built in 2015, with walnut as the rest of the body and headstock, and a satin finish.
This instrument is in excellent condition, with virtually no wear. It comes with the original rectangular Rickenbacker case.
