The Gibson Byrdland uses what looks from the front like a standard, full size 17 inch wide archtop body with carved spruce top, carved flame maple back and flame maple sides and either a florentine (pointed) or venetian (rounded) cutaway. However, the body is a thinline, not much thicker than a 335 at 2.25 inches to reduce feedback, and the neck is shorter than the usual Gibson scale at 23.5 inches.
This very fine Gibson Byrdland bears the Florentine cutaway and was built during 2014 at the Gibson Custom Shop. It is in exceptionally good condition, and is almost unplayed. This is likely the cleanest Byrdland I have ever seen. The original hardshell case is included.
