This example is the AES-1500 model in PSW finish - Pearl Snow White. Yamaha also made an AES-1500 B version, with a Bigsby instead of a stop tailpiece. It is in excellent condition with little to no wear. The date of 2011 is uncertain, for a few reasons. These instruments were built between 1990 and 2011, but Yamaha uses several serial numbering schemes, and they repeat every 10 yeyears. The first character, the H, stands for the year of manufacture and 1 so it could be 1991, 2001, or 2011. The second character, M, stands for both the month of manufacture and 6 (June). The length of the full serial number with the condition of the guitar lead us to the conclusion that it is from 2011, the last year of manufacture for this model.
This guitar is very well built and plays well. The finish is in excellent condition, and the original hardshell case is included.
