1966 C. F. Martin GT-75 Thinline (SOLD)

Produced only between 1965 and 1967, the C. F. Martin GT-75 thinline archtop electric guitar is an oddity in Martin's history.  

The Martin GT-75 featured a bound, double cutaway, full hollow thin mahogany body with a bolt-on bound mahogany neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard and Brazilian rosewood headplate, a pair of deArmond single coil pickups and a Bigsby-style tremolo bridge and alumimum bridge.  

These guitars are fairly uncommon, because though they are well built and technically compare favourably to a few other guitars produced in the same era, they weren't popular and just over 1,500 were made in total. As well, these appeared when the volume wars were really heating up, and fully hollow guitars don't often fare well on high-decibel stages.  

This example from 1966 is in all original, overall good condition. Its burgundy finish shows some wear, mostly on the neck and possibly from the case's neck supports. It plays pretty well as is but could benefit from a setup.
