Collings offers a number of options to upgrade their guitars and we often order in custom pieces for stock and our customers. In the case of this guitar simply adding a Herringbone trim enhanced the simple elegant look of the Collings D1H model.

Part of the very popular square shouldered 14th fret dreadnought line from Collings this Collings D1H guitar has tons of tone! The D1H has a strong and crisp note fundamental with plenty of warm overtones and midrange bloom. The deep and clear bass response would make this guitar ideal of vocal accompaniment while the large dynamic range and abundant volume also makes for a great flat-picking guitar.

With simple good looks and an excellent tone the Collings D1H gets a big thumbs up!
