Comments | Here’s a 1962 Gibson J45 Sunburst in good playing condition – and with that great vintage J-45 sound.
The Gibson J-45 was introduced in 1942, and has been in production ever since. It’s arguably been Gibson’s most successful guitar, and when you play one, it’s clear why. The tone is full and rich, with sparkling but not brittle high end and a warm, round midrange and bottom. This example of the Gibson J45 Sunburst has certainly been used over the years, and has had some repairs to splits in the top, mostly next to the pickguard. However, it sounds great. |
